Synopsis:

Tokyo Ghoul Season 2, officially titled Tokyo Ghoul √A, follows Ken Kaneki's psychological descent into darkness as he rejects his peaceful life at the Anteiku coffee shop. Instead of returning to his friends after being tortured by Yamori (Jason), Kaneki chooses to join Aogiri Tree—the extremist ghoul terrorist organization—in a desperate, self-destructive bid to become powerful enough to protect those he cares about.
