Synopsis:
Thunder 3 Season 1 follows three cartoonish middle school friends—Pyontaro, Hiroshi, and Tsubame—who accidently open a portal to a hyper-realistic parallel universe while searching for a lost disc. When Pyontaro's younger sister, Futaba, enters the screen and gets abducted by hostile aliens, the boys dive in after her. In this gritty, realistic dimension, the trio discovers that their simplified, cartoon-like bodies grant them accidental superhero abilities, allowing them to survive missile strikes and leap across skyscrapers. The plot focuses on their desperate rescue mission as they team up with local human resistance fighters, master their new powers, and navigate the dangerous mechanics of the multiverse to save Futaba.
