Synopsis:

Following the Spirit Tortoise crisis, Naofumi works to rebuild Lurolona Village by entering an underground fighting arena in Zeltoble to win prize money and buy back captured demi-human slaves. While expanding his forces to prepare for the upcoming Phoenix threat, Naofumi must track down the other three missing Cardinal Heroes, who have been manipulated by Malty and corrupted by their dangerous "Curse Series" weapons. After helping them redeem themselves and defeating a rampaging, possessed Emperor Dragon, Naofumi manages to unite the four heroes together, only for the season to end with the shocking revelation that Raphtalia is the rightful royal heir to the throne of a rival nation.
