Synopsis:

After being summoned to stop the Spirit Tortoise, a mountain-sized beast draining souls to create a barrier, Naofumi and his party discover the creature is being controlled by Kyo Ethnina, a hero from another world. When Kyo flees to his home dimension with the tortoise's energy, Naofumi pursues him, only to have his levels reset and his party separated. In this new world, he teams up with the Hunting Hero, Kizuna, to reunite his friends—including Raphtalia, who becomes the Vassal Katana Hero—before ultimately defeating Kyo and returning home to prepare for the next Wave of Calamity.
