Synopsis:

In the first season of Mob Psycho 100, Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama is an unassuming middle school student who suppresses his immense, god-like psychic abilities in an effort to live a completely normal life. He works part-time for Arataka Reigen, a charismatic con artist who pretends to be an exorcist and exploits Mob’s powers for cash. While Mob tries to improve himself socially and physically by joining his school's Body Improvement Club rather than relying on his supernatural gifts, his bottled-up emotions steadily tick upward toward an explosive 100% threshold. The plot shifts from episodic spirit-busting to a high-stakes conflict when Mob's younger brother, Ritsu, inadvertently awakens his own latent powers and is subsequently kidnapped by Claw, a dangerous secret organization of rogue espers seeking world domination. To save his brother, Mob must team up with a former rival psychic named Teru and the reformed cult spirit Dimple to infiltrate Claw's hideout. The season culminates in a massive showdown where Mob is forced to balance his strict pacifist morals against overwhelming threats, ultimately relying on Reigen's unexpected guidance—and a temporary transfer of psychic energy—to defeat the villains and save his brother..
