Synopsis:
The LIAR GAME anime follows Nao Kanzaki, an unnervingly honest college student who is involuntarily recruited into a high-stakes tournament where contestants are given 100 million yen and tasked with stealing the same amount from their opponents. Facing a crushing debt of equal magnitude if she loses, Nao enlists the help of Shinichi Akiyama, a legendary con artist and brilliant strategist recently released from prison. Together, they navigate a series of psychologically grueling games designed to exploit human greed and mistrust, attempting to outsmart both their ruthless opponents and the enigmatic organization behind the game to dismantle the corrupt system from within.
