Synopsis:
The Mugen Train Arc follows Tanjiro Kamado, his companions, and the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, as they investigate a train where over 40 passengers have vanished. The group falls into a deep trap set by the demon Enmu, who merges with the train and forces them into idealized dreams, but Tanjiro breaks free and coordinates a defense that protects all 200 passengers while decapitating the demon. Just as the train derails, a far deadlier threat arrives in Akaza, an Upper Rank Three demon, who engages Rengoku in a brutal duel. Rengoku fiercely refuses Akaza's offer to become an immortal demon and sacrifices his life to protect the young Slayers, holding Akaza down until the sun forces the demon to flee and leaving Tanjiro deeply inspired to carry on his legacy.
